On January 17, 2025, the Future Minerals Forum and Africa Minerals Strategy Group met and agreed to jointly organize a groundbreaking inaugural annual Future Minerals Forum Special Meeting in the Republic of Uganda.
The first Future Minerals Forum Africa Special Meeting will take place on 30th July 2025 at the Speke Convention Centre in Kampala, Uganda. The theme: “Minerals for a New Age of African Development”, will serve as the focal point for discussions on the role of critical minerals in shaping Africa’s future. The FMF Africa’s overarching goal is to foster global collaboration, investment and the responsible supply of critical minerals.
The inaugural FMF Africa Special Meeting will be a one-day event that brings together 1,000 participants including Ministers, Government Representatives, top Industry CEOs, International Organizations, Academia, Civil Society and ASM Representatives.
