In a landmark moment for The Africa Minerals Strategy Group (AMSG)<\/strong> is proud to announce that the Republic of South Sudan<\/strong> has formally ratified the AMSG Charter<\/strong>, marking the historic completion of the Charter\u2019s ratification process and the formal establishment of AMSG as Africa\u2019s premier intergovernmental platform for critical minerals policy, investment alignment, and global engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Instrument of Ratification<\/strong>, signed by H.E. Amb. Monday Semaya K. Kumba<\/strong>, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong>, was officially received by Hon. Martin Gama Abucha<\/strong>, Minister of Mining<\/strong>, who will deposit the instrument with H.E. Moses Micheal Engadu<\/strong>, Secretary-General of AMSG<\/strong>, at a formal ceremony to be organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing the AMSG Secretary-General at the event was Dr. George Kariithi<\/strong>, Special Advisor to the Secretary-General for Eastern Africa<\/strong>, who conveyed the Secretary-General\u2019s congratulations and appreciation to the Government of South Sudan for this landmark step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Sudan\u2019s ratification marks the final step<\/strong> required for the AMSG Charter to enter full legal force<\/strong>, officially giving life to Africa\u2019s united framework for the responsible, transparent, and value-driven development of its mineral resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this act, Africa speaks with one voice<\/strong> \u2013 stronger, more united, and ready to define its mineral destiny on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
